The Shot I Wanted

When I went birding in Alaska earlier this year my main goal was to get an iconic Bald Eagle photograph. In my mind I could see it, wings spread, claws down, white head framed in the black body. And this is what I came home with. It’s perfect. It’s the shot I wanted.
