The Midnight Sun: And the State Bird

I took this photo at midnight on a summer solstice.

Unfortunately, in order to get this photo I had to tolerate what Alaskans jokingly refer to as their state bird, the mosquito. They grow huge in Alaska, and they are aggressive.
