Through the Lens of a Birder

Belize may be a small country, but it packs an incredible diversity of habitats into a relatively compact area. Tropical rainforests, wetlands, Mayan ruins and Caribbean coastline all fit within a country smaller than Massachusetts. I traveled there with Alabama Audubon and recommend that trip to anyone who enjoys birds, wildlife and history if they offer it again.
